Support PULSE

The Partnership for Undergraduate Life Sciences Education (PULSE) works to ensure that every college student in the U.S. receives the best possible biology education to ensure a sufficient scientific workforce for the future and a scientifically literate citizenry to address the numerous challenges that the country will face.  To do this PULSE has developed a variety of programs (featured on this website) to help college biology departments develop curricula based on evidence-based pedagogies and current best practices of biology education, such as those recommended in the AAAS report, Vision and Change in Undergraduate Biology Education. We provide fee-based assistance to any institution that requests our help, but many institutions lack the wherewithal to afford our programs. We depend on gifts and grants to underwrite our services for these under-resourced institutions, such as community colleges and minority-serving institutions. Please make a donation to help us continue this important work.  PULSE is an educational, non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
