As part of our series on “Inclusive Learning in the Life Sciences: The Student Perspective”, the NW PULSE Leadership Circle will host two webinars this spring on Faculty Wellness. While it might seem odd to focus on faculty when the series is supposedly devoted to students, we propose the analogy from the airline industry: “In case of emergency, put on your own face mask/air flow first before helping others.” The NW PULSE Leadership Team senses that faculty members need help with their own wellness now.
The first webinar will be held via Zoom on April 21, from 10:00-12:00 AM PDT; it is entitled “Why work?-a late-pandemic exploration finding value in our jobs – Part 1”. The second webinar will be held via Zoom on May 19 from 10:00-12:00 PDT; it is entitled “Why work?-a late-pandemic exploration finding value in our jobs – Part 2”. There will be a small amount of homework for each webinar!
PULSE Community is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
Topic: Spring NW PULSE webinars, Friday, April 21, 10-12 AM PDT and Friday, May 19, 10-12 AM PDT.
